Last Day at CHA, February 12th

Well yesterday was the last day that I attended CHA. Boy the crowds went away on Tuesday. The floor was very quiet.

Anyways, I spent time at Little Yellow Bicycle, LaserLine, Clear Scraps, Tuesday Techniques, Bo Bunny, SEI, and many others.

I loved Tuesday Techniques new chipboard. They had frames made with flame like designs in a circle. They had Palm Tree chips and other fun shapes. The line stamps were great too. I don't know how many of you are into stamping, but I need to know if you are. I would love to invest in this product, but I don't know the what the demand is

Bo Bunny's new product line is great. Again I loved the beach stuff and the baby stuff. They also have these hawaiin flower stamps to go with their papers. Of course, their quality is great. I plan on selling these items in my store.

I want to put together a survey to find out your interest. So I will be sending out a survey with my next newsletter. Of course, you can make comments on this blog.

After I sort through everything, I plan to write up a recap.

If you are near Anaheim and know a retailer, I highly recommend going to CHA. You get to see everything.

Until next time....

CHA -Third Day, Monday February 11th

Another busy day at CHA. I loved the workshops and seminars I have been taking. They have been giving me alot of new ideas.
And oh boy, the floor is busy. I loved Reminince’s new tropical line and zoo line. Flair Designs had some tropical stuff too. As you can see I am stuck on tropical stuff right now because of my trip to Cancun. Anyways the highlight for me was K and Company. Their stuff was goreous. They have a new beach line that I love.
Plus, I finally a Zutter Reseller, I will be posting and adding new product to my store later this week. They have a new tool that cuts through chipboard and acrylic and rounds the edges with ease. I also order some Piggy Tales slide books with tag windows and I plan to do a class around this too.
I have just receive so much information and good ideas, I can’t wait to try them all.
Well until tomorrow… be good and scrap.

CHA - Day 2 - Sunday, February 9th

Wow what a day I had today. I started the day at 7:00 am with Little Yellow Bicycle's Zach's Life Collection. Finally a collection just for boys. My son is 5, but because I am in Huntington Beach, there is alot of product I can use. It is really meant for older boys, but it will work for Jason. I just love their product. It was a great two hour class. We did three page layouts and started a mini book. You wouldn't believe how much product I walked out of there with.

Then I had to leave CHA to do a Demo at Piecemakers. Well, I did not know this, but the Orange County Register picked up on Piecemakers demos for the day and I was published for Altered Paper Arts Demo at Piecemakers and I was busy. it was fun being on the other side doing make and takes and instructing people how to make things. I met a few people and enjoyed myself.

Then I drove back to CHA and catched a wonderful business Seminar on capturing more scrapbookers. Even though I am not a store front, I got great ideas to do in my local community.

Finally I was back on the show floor and did some make and takes and checked out new products. I already decided I will invest in Piggy Tales products. I love their slide books and Hide and seek books. When I get the materials I will post a sample.

I am also thinking of carriyng Glue Arts producets including the Glider Max.

Before I went to Piecemakers, I did spend some time on the floor and checked other products. Crate Paper has a wonderful new line with Surf related products in it. I loved it. Obviously, I love beach stuff.

Well tomorrow I will be spending my time on the floor checking out some more cool products.

You know what is funny, I created Arcylic clipboards for teachers and aides this year for Christmas and created a Digital photo layout with a santa picture for my mom, mother in law and daycare provider. I inked the edges and added a big bow. Well anyways, Paper House did a similar make n take with arcylic clipboard (the same one I used) with a beach theme. Of course, I did it. They also have wonderful products.

I will talk to you tomorrow.
