Wow what a day I had today. I started the day at 7:00 am with Little Yellow Bicycle's Zach's Life Collection. Finally a collection just for boys. My son is 5, but because I am in Huntington Beach, there is alot of product I can use. It is really meant for older boys, but it will work for Jason. I just love their product. It was a great two hour class. We did three page layouts and started a mini book. You wouldn't believe how much product I walked out of there with.
Then I had to leave CHA to do a Demo at Piecemakers. Well, I did not know this, but the Orange County Register picked up on Piecemakers demos for the day and I was published for Altered Paper Arts Demo at Piecemakers and I was busy. it was fun being on the other side doing make and takes and instructing people how to make things. I met a few people and enjoyed myself.
Then I drove back to CHA and catched a wonderful business Seminar on capturing more scrapbookers. Even though I am not a store front, I got great ideas to do in my local community.
Finally I was back on the show floor and did some make and takes and checked out new products. I already decided I will invest in Piggy Tales products. I love their slide books and Hide and seek books. When I get the materials I will post a sample.
I am also thinking of carriyng Glue Arts producets including the Glider Max.
Before I went to Piecemakers, I did spend some time on the floor and checked other products. Crate Paper has a wonderful new line with Surf related products in it. I loved it. Obviously, I love beach stuff.
Well tomorrow I will be spending my time on the floor checking out some more cool products.
You know what is funny, I created Arcylic clipboards for teachers and aides this year for Christmas and created a Digital photo layout with a santa picture for my mom, mother in law and daycare provider. I inked the edges and added a big bow. Well anyways, Paper House did a similar make n take with arcylic clipboard (the same one I used) with a beach theme. Of course, I did it. They also have wonderful products.
I will talk to you tomorrow.
Debi.
